Tong Tong Fair The Hague: Lecture Renée Steenbergen

Board member Renée Steenbergen will give a lecture about our society during the Tong Tong Fair in The Hague – an active society for lovers and collectors of Indonesian art (amongst others). It was originated by private collectors who travelled to Indonesia and Southeast Asia and could buy high quality art in the 1930s. Who were these collectors and what were their motivations?
