It is already the second time in a year that the Royal Society of Friends of Asian Art has been donated a group of artworks, which may be auctioned for charity. This time, it is Erik Maten (1944) and his partner Hans van der Veer (1951) who are still donating their entire art collection selflessly to the KVVAK during their lifetime.

At the invitation of the Hulsewé-Wazniewski Foundation at Leiden University, Susan Huang (PhD) will be in the Netherlands from 13 to 19 April. She is an associate professor in the Department of Transnational Asian Studies at Rice University in Houston. On this afternoon, Prof Anne Gerritsen will give a short introduction, after which Susan Huang will deliver her lecture.
