Members of the KVVAK are invited to a most interesting seminar - organized by IIAS and the Rijksmuseum - about 16th century murals in the Virabhadra Temple in Lekpashi, India. During this seminar professor Anna L. Dallapiccola will explore these awe-inspiring murals in one of the finest Vijayanagara period temples, one of a few who have not suffered disfiguring additions. The murals are particarily notable as all other evidences of the Vijayanagara painting in Southern India have disappeared or detoriated.
